EOTech HHS I Holographic Hybrid Sight
The EOTech Holographic Hybrid Sight I (HHS I) features an EXPS3-4 with a G33.STS magnifier. Additionally, it has great utility for any shooter, whose target ranges vary from close to mid-range. The HHS I provides a solution for engaging threats in close quarter combat situations, then quickly transitions to a 600-meter targeting or surveillance situation. Also, a quick switch to side (STS) mount offers simple, fast disengagement of the G33 magnifier.
Basically, the durable, night vision compatible system offers wide field optical performance with the superior light transmission for visibility in extreme low light conditions.
HHS I Holographic Hybrid Sight Features
Ring with 4 Dots
Use this ballistic reticle with .223 cal with 62 gr M855 FMJ at roughly 2,680 fps with a 14.5” barrel. It provides four usable aiming points:
0-300 yards
400 yards
500 yards
600 yards
Furthermore, aiming dots may not be distinguishable without magnification.
Heads Up Display
In detail, this is the technology that fighter pilots use for target acquisition. In summary, this creates an accurate image of a target even in poor visibility conditions like rain, snow, darkness or cloud cover.
Also, the heads up display of a holographic sight provides the user with a 2 eyes open shooting. Additionally, this eliminates blind spots and tunnel vision and maximizes peripheral vision.
No Revealing Light Signature
Additionally, all of the external optical surfaces of the HWS are flat and have anti-reflective coatings so no glare elimination filters are needed.
Also, the projected reticle is visible to only the operator. In summary, even GEN-III night vision equipment cannot detect the muzzle side signature of the HWS operator’s position.
Night Vision Compatible
Night vision (NV) settings are available on some EOTech holographic weapon sights.
Are fully compatible with all generations of night vision intensifier tubes
Allow the operator to change the brightness intensity of the holographic reticle
Eliminate halo effect while viewing through an image intensifier tube
Provide enhanced, effective weapon aiming in complete darkness
