The Primary Arms SLx 4-16×44 is a first focal plane scope that features one of the most popular magnification ranges for hunting and innovation you would expect from Primary Arms. At 4x magnification, the wide field of view and daylight bright reticle make tracking a moving target a breeze, while the top end’s 16x magnification allows for unerring precision. The reticle is etched into the first focal plane. This means it is ‘true’ at every magnification, ensuring the ranging, holdovers, and wind holds can be used as long as you can see them.

The 4-16×44 scope body is one of the most advanced to date, offering features like a removable and replaceable fin on the power ring, which allows for rapid adjustment of the magnification range just like a magnification lever, with the fin’s placement entirely at the operator’s discretion. The improved turrets have tactile and audible 0.1 MIL click adjustments, as well as offering easy reset once you’ve got your zero. The illumination turret offers eleven settings. A smooth parallax adjustment and fast focus eyepiece work together to provide a perfectly crisp image of the target and reticle.

ACSS Apollo 6.5CM / .224V Reticle

The 4-16×44 SLx scope is equipped with the first focal plane ACSS Apollo 6.5CM / .224V reticle. Simply sight in at 100 yards and you are ready to engage at any range out to 1,000 yards with crosswinds up to 20 mph, all without requiring any math or touching a single turret. Combine the built in range estimation and hold overs with an infinitely precise chevron tip aiming point and .2 MIL crosshair sub tensions, and you have a firing solution at any distance. The reticle has been tuned and optimized for 6.5 Creedmoor and .224 Valkyrie. 

ARC-2 MOA Reticle

The 4-16×44 SLx scope is equipped with the first focal plane ARC-2 MOA reticle. This simple crosshair reticle allows for impressive precision using traditional minute of angle based ranging and shooting methods. 2 MOA hashmarks allow for easy ranging and hold overs with a full 40 MOA available below the crosshair for long range engagement.

ACSS HUD DMR 308 Reticle

The 4-16×44 is equipped with the ACSS HUD DMR 308 reticle, the most advanced moving target reticle in the world. Capable of guiding the user to first shot hits on moving targets out to a never before seen 600 yards, HUD DMR even accounts for three different target speeds. You can’t hit any target if you don’t know how far out they are, so HUD DMR takes the guesswork out of range estimation. The integrated ranging system quickly and accurately provides target ranging, wind holds, and bullet drop compensation out to a full 1,000 yards. Tuned for common .308 Winchester loads, this reticle can be used with some .223 Remington loading as well.

ACSS R Grid 2B Reticle

The 4-16×44 SLx scope is equipped with ACSS R Grid 2B reticle. A marked improvement over the original R Grid, the 2B retains fan favorites like the horseshoe and chevron for up close snap shooting at low magnification, as well as the incredibly handy auto ranging system. The original line grid has been replaced with a 0.1 MIL dot matrix grid to reduce clutter and allow for more precise holdover references for a full 15 MILs below the center.
