The Spyderco Autonomy 2 Automatic Knife takes all the groundbreaking features of the original Spyderco Autonomy 2 automatic knife, which was developed to meet the demanding needs of U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmers, and incorporates them into a design optimized for utilitarian use. Its ergonomic, open backed handle is built with full stainless steel liners flanked by textured G-10 scales. The easily indexed oversized firing button includes a sliding safety to prevent unintentional activation and extends through the opposite side liner to maximize lock strength. This Spyderco Autonomy 2 Automatic knife features a fully serrated drop point blade with a black finish.

Engineered for end-user maintenance, this patented feature allows the module and spring to be easily removed with the tool in Spyderco’s spring replacement kit without disassembling the entire knife. To ensure convenient carry and immediate access, the handle includes a broad-based hourglass pocket clip that straddles the handle’s lined lanyard tube and is reversible for left or right-side, tip-up carry.
