Trijicon ACOG TA50 3×24 Scope
The Trijicon ACOG TA50 3×24 Scope is a fixed magnification riflescope with an illuminated reticle pattern for use in any lighting conditions. Dual illumination gives two sources of battery free illumination fiber optics and tritium. The fiber optics use ambient light to automatically adjust the brightness level and contrast of the reticle to available light conditions. The tritium phosphor lamp glows in low light conditions.
The ACOG body is made to be extremely rugged and reliable. The forged 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum alloy housing brings a nearly indestructible sighting system. No other magnified optic has been used more in combat than the Trijicon ACOG. Mounting bosses are integrated into the housing (near the eyepiece) to allow the easy addition of a Trijicon RMR (not included) with the RM54 mount (not included). No tools are needed for windage and elevation adjustments because the ACOG features external adjusters. All adjuster caps are provided with a lanyard assembly to minimize the loss of caps.

Very good ACOG and everything you can imagine it would be from Trijicon. I’ve mounted this to an Arsenal SAM5 and while the eye relief is a bit lacking, it is perfectly doable though and looks great. I will say I bought a different TA50 originally from Kenzies and what I thought would be a removable high mount was integral to the TA50. This is a very poor design because it doesn’t afford you the flexibility that a PA Slx 1x/3x does from a mounting standpoint. That said, I used my mounting accessories from my PA Slx 1x and with this model TA50, you now have the same mounting flexibility. I won’t say this optic will do anything more than the PA Slx 1x/3x, but this is a Trijicon and it’s just rad.
If you could really careless about ACOG look, buy the PA Slx 1x/3x. But I don’t have any regrets.
