The CRKT S.P.E.C. (Small. Pocket. Everyday. Cleaver.) will take care of your cutting needs on the go, whether it is chopping, slicing or dicing. Designed by knifemaker Alan Folts, this portable knife is a coveted staple for camp kitchen, woodworking, and miscellaneous tasks in the garage. Inspired by the mighty butcher cleaver made for the chopping block, this reimagined knife doesn’t let its portable size hold it back.

After Alan Folts released the popular Minimalist Cleaver, the celebrated design gained traction with its rough and tough capabilities. With the original cleaver blade length coming in at 2.13″ and 5.06″ in overall length, this version packs even more power with its larger build. Excelling in both indoor and outdoor tasks, the 5.63″ long S.P.E.C. features a sturdy 2.44″ fixed blade constructed of high carbon stainless steel – making it effortlessly easy to sharpen and maintain.

Similar to the CRKT S.P.E.W. (Small. Pocket. Everyday. Wharncliffe), the S.P.E.C. is equally sturdy and strong from the blade’s tip, down to the grip. Modeled after its predecessor, the cleaver’s G10 handle flaunts a heavier texture for a securely comfortable grasp. Equipped with a sheath for added carrying versatility, slip it quickly onto your belt or bag for easy portability.
