The CRKT Stickler is as assisted folding knife with liner lock. It is paying homage to vintage melon testers and coffin jack pocket knives, and designed by Jeff Park. As a sleek folding knife, the blade is concealed in a cobalt blue handle when closed. And thanks to its Assisted Opening technology, the Stickler deploys fast and smooth whenever you’re ready to put it to use. A classy gentleman design with a touch of personality, it’s an old soul in a brand new build.

Inspired by the likes of vintage melon tester knives, designer Jeff Park wanted to create something that could handle everyday tasks, while also look timeless in its design. Mission accomplished. A slender folding knife, the Stickler employs modern technology, using Ken Onion’s Assisted Opening. Complete with the IKBS ball bearing pivot system, the blade deploys in the blink of an eye for a smooth rotation, making the knife a modern invention that just happens to look like. it could be from another era.

Tackling the everyday to do list, its 12C27 Sandvik offers razor sharp performance with excellent edge retention. Coming out 3.38″ in length, this compact carry is a snappy companion for around the garage, home or office. With the Stickler, you won’t have to choose between style and function.

How Assisted Opening Works

It’s held securely closed in your pocket, but initiate the deployment, and part way through the rotation the blade opens at impressive speed for simple, powerful, one handed opening.
