Like all Leupold optics the Freedom RDS was built right here in the United States of America. To prove durability it was then punisher tested and varied before hitting the shelves. The red dot comes in a crisp day bright 1MOA dot to ensure better accuracy as the target gets further away. Leupold added their Motion Sensor Technology (MST) which shuts off the optic after 5 minutes of sitting still. Pick the optic up at any moment after and the optic will turn right back on and be ready to go.
