Contributing to the smoothness is the milling in the thumb slide cut-out, which breaks apart lint and other debris for more reliable action.
Lastly, the Cypher II uses hidden fasteners, with only the large pocket clip lanyard hole screw visible. Add on the titanium pocket clip, and you’ve got a premium OTF knife.
