The Microtech 230-1BL UTX-85 OTF is armed with a Spartan Blade with a Black finish, and the handle is built with Blue anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. It is equipped with Black hardware, pocket clip, and glass breaker tip. Microtech improved the ergonomics, with rounded handle faces, and patches of grooves along the slides to ensure a great grip of the UTX-85 models. It is the perfect knife for all situations with the blend of compact size and big performance.

Microtech refuses to settle for less than the finest of materials, and the blade steel will run with the best in edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance.

The handle is made from milled aluminum with an ergonomic contour, allowing for comfortable, prolonged use. There are a few patches of jimping that provide added grip when actuating the thumb slide, in or out. There is a reversible deep-carry pocket clip mounted using an attractive, proprietary bolt with a bearing glass breaker tip.
