Although bringing attention to the sensor alone should be enough to grab most shooter’s attention, that wouldn’t do justice to all the other included improvements inside this unit. The AGM Adder V2 LRF 60-1280 Thermal Imaging Riflescope also packs a well-disguised 1000m laser rangefinder neatly tucked into the germanium lens assembly, as well as an incredible crisp new high resolution 2560×2560 display. These combine to provide the most detailed thermal image that AGM has ever produced.
The AGM Adder V2 LRF 60-1280 Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s 60mm lens is the perfect size as its not too big to make mounting difficult on different weapons platforms, but its still large enough to raise the base magnification to a perfect 2.5X. Like all Adder V2 models, the AGM Adder V2 LRF 60-1280 Thermal Imaging Riflescope will have the ability to change from step zoom (doubling the magnification each press of the button) to an 0.5X incremental zoom, so that there are no large gaps in the zoom range that shooters cannot take advantage of.
User’s will also be quick to notice the new semi-circular display that lies within the viewing area. This will give users a more traditional scope feel when viewing through the device, and its new red and green monochrome color palettes will provide those with more sensitive eyes to avoid the “night blindness” that so many experience after long term viewing with a digital optic.
