The AGM Clarion 640 Dual Base Thermal Imaging Scope combines a high-resolution 640 thermal sensor with an innovative dual-lens optical system, allowing users to mechanically switch between 35mm and 60mm objective lenses. This unique design provides two optical base magnification and field-of-view configurations within a single thermal scope, giving hunters greater flexibility across changing terrain and distances.

At the heart of the AGM Clarion 640 Dual Base Magnification Thermal Imaging Scope is a high-performance 640×512, 12-micron thermal sensor with sub-20mK sensitivity, providing excellent thermal detail and target definition across challenging environmental conditions.

Dual Base Magnification – 35mm & 60mm

Unlike conventional thermal scopes with a fixed objective lens, the AGM Clarion 640 allows the user to mechanically alternate between its 35mm and 60mm optical systems.

The AGM Clarion 640 Dual Base Magnification Thermal Imaging Scope’s 35mm lens provides a 2x base magnification with a wider 12.5° x 10.0° field of view, approximately 65 feet at 100 yards. This configuration is ideal when a wider viewing area and increased situational awareness are preferred.

Switch to the 60mm lens for 3x base magnification and a narrower 7.3° x 5.9° field of view, approximately 38 feet at 100 yards. The increased optical magnification provides a closer view when additional image detail is needed.

Because the magnification change is achieved through the optical system rather than digital zoom alone, users can switch between the two base magnifications without the image-resolution loss associated with digital magnification.

The AGM Clarion 640 Dual Base Magnification Thermal Imaging Scope’s  dual-base design makes the Clarion 640 highly adaptable to different hunting environments, from wide fields and wooded terrain to longer-distance open-country applications.

Advanced Thermal Imaging

The Clarion 640 pairs its dual-lens system with a 640×512 resolution, 12-micron thermal detector featuring an impressive sub-20mK NETD rating. The high-sensitivity sensor is designed to reveal subtle temperature differences, helping produce greater image detail when environmental conditions reduce thermal contrast.

Multiple image adjustment options allow users to further customize the display, including 10 brightness and contrast settings, five image sharpness settings, and four thermal color palettes.

Built-in recording capabilities allow the AGM Clarion 640 Dual Base Magnification Thermal Imaging Scope to capture video with sound as well as still images directly through the optic.

An integrated Wi-Fi hotspot provides connectivity with the AGM Connect App, giving users additional options for viewing and managing captured content from a compatible mobile device.

The Clarion 640 provides extensive customization for different setups and preferences, including:

Two rechargeable batteries are included, allowing users to keep a spare battery available for extended time in the field.

A high-quality American Defense Manufacturing mount is also included, providing a robust mounting solution suitable for compatible platforms.
