AGM Taipan V2 19-384 Thermal Monocular
The AGM Taipan V2 19-384 Thermal Monocular combines an upgraded high-sensitivity thermal detector, fast 50Hz imaging, onboard recording, and a removable rechargeable battery in a rugged handheld platform. Designed for versatile outdoor observation, the AGM Taipan V2 19-384 Thermal Monocular delivers detailed thermal imaging for hunting, property and livestock monitoring, search and rescue, boating, camping, and other outdoor applications.
At the heart of the AGM Taipan V2 19-384 is a 384×288 resolution, 12-micron thermal detector with sub-20mK sensitivity. Paired with a 19mm F1.0 germanium objective lens and 50Hz refresh rate, the system provides smooth, responsive thermal imagery with excellent detail and temperature differentiation.
Images are displayed through a high-resolution 1024×768 OLED display with a wide rubber eyepiece designed for comfortable viewing during extended sessions. Users can choose between four thermal color palettes and utilize 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x digital zoom to adapt the image to different viewing conditions.
One of the major upgrades to the Taipan V2 platform is its removable rechargeable 18650 battery, replacing the permanently installed internal battery of the previous generation. The system provides more than 6.5 hours of operating time, while a USB Type-C interface allows connection to an external power source for extended use.
An integrated 90-degree tilt sensor automatically switches off the display when appropriate to conserve battery power. The Taipan V2 also includes 16GB of internal storage, onboard video recording with sound, and Wi-Fi connectivity for pairing with the AGM Connect App.
Built for demanding outdoor conditions, the AGM Taipan V2 19-384 Thermal features a rugged rubber-overmolded housing and an IP67 waterproof rating. It is backed by AGM’s 5-year transferable warranty.
