Arisaka Inline Scout Mount
The Arisaka Inline Scout Mount is machined of 7075-T6 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized. It was specifically designed for the Surefire Scout Light M600 and M300 series, Arisaka 300 and 600 Series, and more. The mount replaces the stock Picatinny rail adapter with a low profile mount for handguards, and is especially useful on handguards that feature 45 degree angle mounting flats.
When used on a 45 degree angle mounting flat, the Inline Scout Mount allows the user to position the light closer or farther away from the top 12 o’clock rail to give clearance for front sights or other accessories. Three positions are provided, allowing an offset of 0.12″ to either side of center. The base of the Surefire Scout Light sits only 0.2″ above the mounting surface.
Installation tip: In order to reduce the overall length of the mount as much as possible, it is necessary to unscrew the tail cap of the light to access the front-most mounting screw.
This mount is not intended for use in a cantilever fashion where it hangs off the end of the handguard.

Really good fit and finish on the machining and anodizing for this part. The fasteners use a Torx standard instead of Allen which helps prevent stripping.
The Arisaka Inline mount is about the only way to mount a weapon light in conjunction with a BE Meyers MAWL for your night vision work.
Overall I am pleased with this product though I do wish they would add Loctite to the fasteners for their customers like Magpul and virtually everyone else using MLok T-Nut hardware standards.
