The Benchmade 5370FE Shootout OTF Automatic Knife combines lightweight construction, premium blade steel, and fast double-action operation in a streamlined out-the-front platform. Featuring a CPM-CruWear blade with a Flat Earth PVD finish, rugged Black CF-Elite handle, carbide glass breaker, and reversible pocket clip, the Shootout is engineered to deliver dependable performance without the weight typically associated with an automatic OTF knife.

At the heart of the 5370FE is a premium CPM-CruWear blade, selected for its excellent combination of toughness, strength, and edge retention. A distinctive Flat Earth PVD coating provides the blade with its earth-tone appearance while complementing the black handle.

The Shootout utilizes a double-action OTF mechanism, allowing the blade to deploy and retract through the front of the handle using the integrated actuator. This design provides convenient one-handed operation in a compact, streamlined package.

Rather than using a traditional aluminum OTF handle, Benchmade constructs the Shootout from CF-Elite, a carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon material designed to increase rigidity while maintaining exceptionally low weight. The molded construction also allows Benchmade to incorporate detailed texturing throughout the handle, providing additional traction and control.
