At the heart of the Benchmade 555-S30V Mini Griptilian is its 2.91-inch CPM-S30V stainless steel blade, engineered to provide excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and dependable cutting performance. The distinctive sheepsfoot blade profile features a relatively straight cutting edge and a rounded spine that slopes toward the tip, making it particularly useful for controlled slicing, detailed cutting, and everyday utility tasks. Its satin finish provides a clean, classic appearance that complements the black handle.
The textured black handle combines lightweight construction with comfortable ergonomics. Its contoured shape provides a secure gripping surface, while the compact profile allows the knife to fit conveniently into a pocket or everyday carry setup. Designed to maintain the recognizable feel of the original Griptilian, the Mini Griptilian offers excellent control without unnecessary bulk.
Equipped with Benchmade’s AXIS locking mechanism, the 555-S30V provides smooth manual blade operation and secure blade engagement. Its ambidextrous opening design allows convenient use for both right- and left-handed users, making it a versatile folding knife for everyday applications.
The Benchmade 555-S30V Mini Griptilian is particularly appealing to users who prefer a compact knife without sacrificing blade quality or cutting performance. Whether opening packages, trimming cordage, preparing outdoor equipment, or handling routine cutting tasks, its sheepsfoot blade offers a practical balance of precision and versatility.
