The Oakley SI Gascan American Heritage Liberty Collection sunglasses were designed to honor the essence of independence and freedom. They are inspired by the Statue of Liberty. The timeless pad print design is a symbol of hope, equality and opportunity and embodies the very definition of American Heritage. Inspired by the street glory of speed machines, Oakley design language did a complete 180 in 2005. We traded soft curves for straight edges and hard lines to sculpt our very first high-wrap lifestyle shades. The toric lens design became known as Oakley Gascan SI American. And it spawned an aesthetic so new and original, we customized our corporate logo for the frame.

The Oakley SI Gascan sunglasses feature a lightweight yet durable O-Matter frame with a bold rectangular wrap design that offers excellent coverage and all-day comfort through Oakley’s SI Gascan American Three-Point Fit system. They are equipped with High Definition Optics (HDO) and XYZ Optics for sharp, distortion-free vision across the entire field of view, while Plutonite lenses provide 100% protection from UVA, UVB, UVC, and harmful blue light. Built for performance and reliability, the Oakley’s SI Gascan American meets ANSI Z87.1 impact resistance standards, making it suitable for tactical, outdoor, and everyday use, with optional polarized and Prizm lens variants available for enhanced contrast and glare reduction.

The Oakley SI Gascan American Heritage Liberty Collection sunglasses are a special-edition take on the classic Gascan design that pays tribute to American independence and the Statue of Liberty, featuring unique graphics inspired by American heritage on the frames while keeping the bold, high-wrap rectangular silhouette that defines the Gascan line. Built on a lightweight and durable O-Matter frame, they include Oakley’s Prizm lens technology to boost color, contrast, and visual detail, and High Definition Optics® (HDO) for clear, distortion-free vision.
