Description
Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x 5.56 BDC Dual Role Optical Sight
The Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x 5.56 BDC Dual Role Optical Sight is engineered to provide a versatile aiming solution for close-quarters and medium-range applications. Unlike conventional variable-power optics, the SpecterDR uses a dual-field-of-view design that allows shooters to transition instantly between true 1x and 4x magnification with an ambidextrous throw lever. This provides a wide field of view and rapid target acquisition at 1x while delivering magnification for more precise aiming at 4x.
The illuminated CX5395 5.56 NATO BDC reticle is calibrated for M855 ammunition from a 16-inch M4 barrel and can be configured for different shooting conditions. Users can illuminate the full ballistic reticle for longer-range aiming or utilize the center red dot for fast target acquisition. The optic maintains consistent eye relief in both magnification modes, while its optimized optical path provides a clear, bright sight picture.
The current Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x 5.56 BDC features an integrated Picatinny rail, ambidextrous controls, improved battery covers, and a durable Cerakote finish. Both configurations feature a 32mm objective, 1/2 MOA adjustment value, 2.8-inch eye relief, and a compact six-inch length.
This variation listing includes the DFOV4-B146-C10 in Black and DFOV4-T265-C10 in Flat Dark Earth, allowing customers to select their preferred finish while receiving the same proven SpecterDR 1-4x 5.56 BDC configuration.
