So far, the most popular reticle offered is this 65 MOA ring with 1 MOA dot. This red reticle is ideal for fast target acquisition. It Additionally, providing three usable aiming points. The aiming points below were based on the following load: .223 Cal. 62 Gr. 2,900 Vel.
Eotech 512 Heads-Up Display
In detail, this is very similar to the technology that fighter pilots use. This creates an accurate image of a target even when in poor-visibility conditions such as rain, snow, darkness or cloud cover.
Also, the heads-up display of a holographic sight provides the user with a 2-eyes-open shooting. This eliminates blind spots and tunnel vision and maximizes peripheral vision.
No Revealing Light Signature
All external optical surfaces of the HWS are flat and have anti-reflective coatings so no glare elimination filters are needed.
Also, the reticle is visible to only the operator. In summary, even GEN-III night vision cannot detect the muzzle-side signature of the HWS operator’s position.
