The Microtech 121-4VI Ultratech Knife has a Drop Point blade with a Satin finish. This knife comes with a modeled Violet anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a Satin finished pocket clip, glass breaker, and stainless steel thumb slide. Microtech armed this version of the ever so popular Ultratech OTF knife with a smooth, molded handle created for a more comfortable feeling handle.

Microtech upgraded this model so that it’s a better fit in your hand and pocket while still keeping it’s true dimensions, trim and durability from the “Tri-Grip” version. The Ultratech, it’s a fully automatic knife with a double-action out-the-front mechanism, meaning the thumb slide deploys the blade and retracts it as well. Microtech has set the standards for the OTF line with the Ultratech knife.

The blade is deployed and retracted along a straight track via a slide actuator, enabling smooth, one-hand operation with a positive mechanical feel when the internal mechanism is properly maintained. The single-edge blade emphasizes controlled and efficient slicing capability, making it well-suited to common cutting needs such as opening packages, cutting cordage, or other daily utility tasks without the added complexity of serrations.
