This Microtech 122-11RD Ultratech comes with a double edged dagger blade with partially serrated edges and a stonewashed finish. It has a contoured, Red 6061-T6 aluminum handle with bead blasted pocket clip, glass breaker, and stainless steel hardware. Microtech gave this version of the ever popular Ultratech D/A OTF knife with a smooth, contoured handle design that has more comfort when in use. This updated model has the same dimensions, hardware, and durability offered by the “Tri-Grip” variation, but goes easier on the hands and pockets. The Ultratech, is a fully automatic knife with a double action out the front mechanism, which means the thumb slide deploys the blade and retracts it as well. The Ultratech knife is the leading example for OTF knives.
