Microtech 223-13APVI Ultratech D/E OTF Automatic Knife Violet – Bronzed Apocalyptic

The Microtech 223-13APVI Ultratech Knife has a Spartan blade with a Bronzed Apocalyptic finish. This knife comes with a modeled Violet anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a Bronzed Apocalyptic finished pocket clip, glass breaker, and stainless steel thumb slide. Microtech armed this version of the ever so popular Ultratech OTF knife with a smooth, molded handle created for a more comfortable feeling handle.

Microtech upgraded this model so that it’s a better fit in your hand and pocket while still keeping it’s true dimensions, trim and durability from the “Tri-Grip” version. The Ultratech, it’s a fully automatic knife with a double-action out-the-front mechanism, meaning the thumb slide deploys the blade and retracts it as well. Microtech has set the standards for the OTF line with the Ultratech knife.

While the dimensions of the Ultratech remain unchanged, the handle has been stripped back down to its original roots–now offering a smooth contoured chassis, however still boasting the tri-angle hardware, a redesigned thumb slide and the glass breaker that now includes a press fitted ball bearing for a more comfortable, but still functional, user experience. Each Microtech OTF knife has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability.
