The Scalarworks LEAP 08 QD 30mm Scope Mount – 1.57″ (SW0815) is a lightweight, 3rd generation rigid mounting solution designed for 30mm LPVOs and high-powered scopes. Precision CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum billet, the LEAP/08 is engineered to provide an excellent strength-to-weight ratio while maintaining the durability required for demanding applications.

This 1.57-inch configuration positions the optic center 1.57 inches above the top of the Picatinny rail, providing a natural cheek weld and a lower-third co-witness with compatible backup sights. The mount features a 0 MOA cant and is designed for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails and 30mm scope tubes.

Scalarworks’ ClickDrive quick-detach system uses a low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp for secure attachment without bulky levers or knobs. A spring-loaded ball-detent helps maintain a secure connection under recoil while allowing the mount to be removed without tools.

The Scalarworks LEAP 08 also incorporates Scalarworks’ LevelDrive system, designed to simplify scope leveling during installation. Its asymmetric ring design helps create a more level platform for an optional secondary optic, while machined inner ring grooves increase traction against the scope tube. The mount can also accept compatible KICK extension mounts for adding a red dot optic at the 12 o’clock position.

Finished with Type III anodizing and Flash Nitride components, the Scalarworks LEAP 08 is proudly made in the USA and provides a lightweight, low-profile solution for mounting 30mm optics.
