Description
The Sightmark Triple Duty RC280 is a rechargeable tactical flashlight built around a high‑output Cree LED that produces about 280 lumens of bright white light, making it useful for illumination in dark environments, navigating trails, searching at night, or complementing personal defense gear. It uses a rechargeable 18650 lithium‑ion battery for convenient reuse, and if needed the battery can be swapped for two CR123A disposable cells to extend run time or when charging isn’t practical. The flashlight operates with a simple two‑stage push button that lets you turn it on and off easily. It is constructed from aircraft‑grade aluminum with a type II mil‑spec anodized finish for rugged durability and resistance to corrosion.
The design is weather‑resistant with an IP67 rating, meaning it’s fully dustproof and can be submerged up to one meter for about an hour without damage. It also stands up to shocks and rough handling. The Sightmark Triple Duty RC280 light’s multi‑faceted reflector helps produce a useful beam pattern for general illumination, and the body shape and tail cap switch make it easy to hold and operate even with gloves. Many kits include colored filters (red, green, blue) for different tasks like preserving night vision, reading maps, or tracking trails. The flashlight can also be mounted to a weapon using appropriate accessories if you want to use it as a tactical‑mounted light.
