This can save a lot of ammunition and time at the range by getting your sights close to center early in the process. The laser operates at a wavelength of roughly 632–650 nm with output under 5 mW and runs on three AG3 batteries, which are included and typically provide up to around an hour of continuous use. Everything you need is carried in the included compact case, and the boresighter itself is lightweight and easy to pack for travel or range trips.

The housing is built from durable materials to withstand regular handling, and the simple on/off switch makes it straightforward to operate even for beginners. While it speeds up initial alignment, most shooters still perform final adjustments with live ammunition, since a laser boresighter gets you “on paper” but doesn’t replace actual ballistic testing. It’s a practical tool for sighting in after mounting a new scope or red dot, changing barrels, or prepping for hunting or competition.
