SMS Trinity Green & IR Laser Adjustable VCSEL IR Illuminator

The SMS Trinity combines a green visible laser, infrared (IR) laser, and VCSEL IR illuminator into a compact, durable housing designed for versatile low-light and night-vision applications. Its coaxial laser and illuminator configuration eliminates the need for separate calibration between the integrated aiming components.

The SMS Trinity features a 520nm green visible laser with an output below 5mW, a 0.7mW 850nm IR laser, and a 100mW 850nm VCSEL IR illuminator. The VCSEL technology is designed to provide cleaner illumination than traditional EEL illuminators, while an integrated flood lens helps provide broader area coverage. The IR illuminator offers adjustable beam divergence from approximately 25 MRAD to 165 MRAD, allowing the illumination pattern to be tailored to different viewing conditions.

Power adjustment allows the IR laser and illuminator to be configured independently, helping reduce unwanted halo effects when used with night-vision equipment. The Trinity measures 3.54 x 2.36 x 1.18 inches and weighs 6.7 ounces. Its housing is constructed from 7075 aluminum and is rated IPX8 waterproof, with a tested vibration resistance of 1200G.

Powered by a CR123 or 16340 battery, the SMS Trinity provides a compact three-function laser and illumination solution with rugged construction and adjustable IR illumination.
