Timney Triggers Impact AR Trigger
The Timney Triggers Impact AR Triggers were built to give you a lower priced trigger without having to compromise on quality. It is the next trigger in the People’s Choice Line of Excellence from the craftsmen and women of The World’s Finest Trigger. Timney’s engineers figured out a way to machine the parts from billet steel (no skimping with metal injection molding or stamped), assemble the triggers, and still hand test this trigger by Timney’s trigger technicians. The Impact Trigger gives the user a crisp, clean, 3 pound break and will drop into all Mil-Spec ARs.
All components are captive in the lightweight, aluminum alloy housing. The hammer is wire-EDM machined from S7 tool steel that combines hardness to resist wear with superior impact resistance to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. Other components are EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated to Rc 56-60 for long service life. The trigger is installed using your rifle’s original hammer/trigger pins, Timney’s proprietary design eliminates pin walkout. The secret to long-range accuracy?
