Battery-Free Fiber-Optic and Tritium Illumination
The Trijicon ACOG 6×48 uses a dual-illumination system that combines fiber optics for daylight reticle illumination with tritium for low-light visibility.
This battery-free design eliminates the need for electronic brightness controls or routine battery replacement. The illuminated reticle provides a visible aiming reference across changing lighting conditions, although actual brightness depends on ambient light and the age of the tritium.
