Trijicon SRO 2.5 MOA Red Dot
The Trijicon SRO Sight (Specialized Reflex Optic) offers a wide field of view and a crisp, clean red dot that makes it easy for users to find and track the dot in both target and competitive shooting applications. Furthermore, helping to improve shooting accuracy and speed. Every Trijicon SRO features both manual and automatic LED brightness modes, 3 night vision modes and a 3-year battery life.
Trijicon SRO vs RMR
The Trijicon SRO is specifically designed to survive the rigors of slide ride pistols and is engineered for hard use in the field. It shares the same footprint and a similar electronics design as the proven Trijicon RMR which has been tested to survive beyond 30,000 rounds of .45 ACP recoil.
Like the RMR the Trijicon SRO is forged from 7075, T-6 aircraft grade aluminum, making it much more reliable and durable than conventional red dot sights. This forged housing protects the lenses and electronics, and it has been tested to survive typical pistol mounted drops. To view the SRO specs in comparison to the RMR click here.

Just started shooting USPSA with a VP9 paired up with an RMR, and never really thought much of switching over to the SRO until I shot my buddies gun that had an SRO…HUGE DIFFERENCE IN SIGHT PICTURE WINDOW AND PICKING UP THE DOT! And so much easier to track that A zone when running and gun’n. No difference from the RMR footprint but did noticed the SRO base is a tad bit thicker than the RMR base, My suppressor height BUS just clear the SRO base now, where as the sights with the RMR were more visible. Not a big deal but just something to note. Overall highly recommend the SRO over the RMR for non duty use.
