Description
Benchmade 391T SOCP Trainer Folding Knife – Black / Red
The Benchmade 391T SOCP Trainer Folding Knife is a purpose-built training tool designed to complement the Benchmade SOCP Tactical Folder. Developed from the design concepts of tactical instructor Greg Thompson, this folding trainer allows users to become familiar with the handling, ergonomics, and operation of the SOCP platform without using a sharpened blade. Featuring a distinctive red training blade, black handle, and Benchmade’s AXIS locking mechanism, the 391T combines realistic equipment familiarization with a dedicated training configuration.
Based on the popular Benchmade 391BK SOCP Tactical Folder, the 391T Trainer maintains the recognizable design characteristics of the original folding knife. Its distinctive blade profile and folding construction allow users to practice opening, closing, and handling the SOCP platform in a controlled training environment.
The red-finished training blade provides an immediate visual distinction from the sharpened SOCP Tactical Folder. Designed specifically for training applications, the blade allows users to develop familiarity with the knife’s dimensions, balance, and general handling characteristics without the cutting edge of a standard knife.
The black handle incorporates the signature SOCP ergonomic design, including textured dimples that provide tactile reference points during handling. Its streamlined profile offers a comfortable grip while maintaining the distinctive appearance of the SOCP folding knife series.
Equipped with Benchmade’s AXIS locking mechanism, the 391T SOCP Trainer provides the familiar manual operation and locking functionality associated with the corresponding folding knife. The integrated deployment ring and tip-down carry configuration further reflect the design characteristics of the SOCP platform.
Designed for professional training, equipment familiarization, and controlled practice, the Benchmade 391T SOCP Trainer is a practical companion to the live-blade 391BK SOCP Tactical Folder. Its distinctive black-and-red appearance makes it easy to identify as a training tool while maintaining the recognizable SOCP design.
The Benchmade 391T SOCP Trainer Folding Knife combines Greg Thompson’s specialized SOCP design with Benchmade’s precision engineering in a dedicated folding training platform.
