Benchmade 916SBK Triage Blunt Tip Partially Serrated Folding Knife – Black / Black
The Benchmade 916SBK Triage Blunt Folding Knife is a versatile, American-made rescue tool designed for first responders, emergency personnel, and professionals who require dependable equipment in demanding situations. Combining three essential rescue functions into one compact design, the Triage features a blunt-tip partially serrated blade, an integrated folding safety hook, and a carbide glass breaker. Built with premium materials and Benchmade’s trusted AXIS locking mechanism, the 916SBK delivers practical functionality, durability, and convenient everyday carry.
At the heart of the Benchmade 916SBK Triage Blunt is its N680 stainless steel blade, an Austrian steel known for excellent corrosion resistance and reliable cutting performance. The partially serrated cutting edge combines a plain-edge section for controlled slicing with serrations suited for cutting fibrous materials such as rope, webbing, and straps. Its blunt-tip design provides an alternative to traditional pointed blades for applications where reducing the risk of accidental punctures is important.
In addition to its primary blade, the Benchmade Triage 916SBK incorporates a 440C stainless steel folding safety hook designed for cutting straps, webbing, and similar materials. The hook provides a dedicated cutting tool for situations where a conventional knife blade may not be the preferred option. This integrated design allows users to carry multiple useful tools without the bulk of separate equipment.
A carbide glass breaker is built into the handle, providing an additional emergency-response feature. Together, the knife blade, safety hook, and glass breaker create a compact triple-function tool designed around the practical needs of rescue professionals.
The textured black G10 handle provides a durable gripping surface with ergonomic finger grooves for comfortable, controlled handling. Full stainless steel liners add structural support, while the AXIS locking mechanism provides secure blade engagement. Ambidextrous thumb studs support convenient manual blade opening for right- and left-handed users.
For convenient carry, the Benchmade 916SBK Triage Blunt includes a reversible, tip-up deep-carry pocket clip that accommodates different carry preferences. Its folding construction keeps the tool compact and accessible, making it a practical addition to professional rescue equipment, emergency kits, and everyday carry setups.
Proudly made in the USA, the Benchmade 916SBK Triage Blunt Tip Folding Knife combines Benchmade’s precision craftsmanship with specialized rescue-oriented features in a durable, multifunctional design.
