Unlike the Endura 4, which uses stainless steel liners in the handle, the Pacific Salt 2’s incredibly lightweight linerless handle is molded from two pieces of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and fitted with four sets of threaded stainless steel inserts to mount its four-position clip. All other metal hardware on the Pacific Salt 2 is also machined from special marine-grade alloys and black coated for extreme corrosion resistance.

The heart of this version of the Pacific Salt 2 is its hollow-ground blade, which is crafted from H-2—Spyderco’s most corrosion-resistant alloy.
