The Microtech 122-12RD Ultratech Knife has a Fully Serrated Dagger blade with a Stonewash finish. This knife comes with a modeled Red anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a Stonewash finished pocket clip, glass breaker, and stainless steel thumb slide. Microtech armed this version of the ever so popular Ultratech OTF knife with a smooth, molded handle created for a more comfortable feeling handle.
Microtech upgraded this model so that it’s a better fit in your hand and pocket while still keeping it’s true dimensions, trim and durability from the “Tri-Grip” version. The Ultratech, it’s a fully automatic knife with a double-action out-the-front mechanism, meaning the thumb slide deploys the blade and retracts it as well. Microtech has set the standards for the OTF line with the Ultratech knife.
The blade is fully serrated, which makes it perfect for cutting through tough materials such as rope, fabric, and thicker plastics. The stonewash finish on the blade provides a rugged, worn-in look while also helping to conceal scratches that can develop over time.
