The Microtech 232-5TQ UTX-85 OTF is armed with an updated contoured handle, triangle hardware, an updated thumb slide and the glass breaker which includes press fitted ball bearing. The fitted ball bearing makes if more comfortable but functional user experience. The knife is equipped with a satin finish dagger style blade that is partially serrated edge and a turquoise  anodized handle. The UTX-85 OTF is perfect for everyday use.

The Microtech UTX-85 is much like the incredibly popular Ultratech, but shrunk down by 15%, hence the name UTX-85. Microtech refuses to settle for less than the finest of materials, and the blade steel will run with the best in edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance.

The handle is made from milled aluminum with an ergonomic contour, allowing for comfortable, prolonged use. There are a few patches of jimping that provide added grip when actuating the thumb slide, in or out. There is a reversible, deep-carry pocket clip mounted using an attractive, proprietary bolt with a bearing glass breaker tip.
