The Reptilia RMU Mount w/ 0.625 is a lightweight, slim-line solution manufactured at the request of a DoD customer. The Reptilia RMU Mounts are idea for lifting a variety of optics with fixed heights, lower 1/3 co-witness heights such as the EOTech line of holographic optics, Vortex AMG UH-1, and Sig ROMEO8T to an elevated height which is more ergonomic when using helmet borne night vision or those who prefer a more upright shooting stance.
The Reptilia RMU Mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized finish, the mount attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail, and offers optimal sight placement with an increase in height of .625 inches. Its spring loaded nitrided steel clamp and mounting bolt simplify the installation process, and sit flush with the body of the mount for a low profile, anti snag design.
