I needed a thermal imager to help locate hogs in our mountain terrain, which is why I did not go with NV (lots of brush/trees). After much researching and debating, I decided to go with the TM160 as our shots in the mountains are usually sub 50 yards.
This unit fit the bill perfectly for my needs. Keep in mind the resolution is not super clear but this is an entry model and not meant for long distances. My current setup is to use this for heat signature ID, confirm with my weapon light that has a green filter and take the shot if a hog.
My first unit had an issue charging but Kenzies Optics took care of me with no questions. The replacement has been working great and is used quite a bit in the field.
