Description
Arken Optics Bubble Level
Even a small cant of the rifle rotates the scope’s elevation and windage corrections so they no longer act purely vertical or horizontal — that creates horizontal error when you intend to correct elevation. At long range that small error becomes a big miss. The Arken Optics Bubble Level prevents that.
When your rifle is canted the scope’s vertical line is tilted relative to gravity. Any elevation correction you apply is split into a vertical and a horizontal component. That horizontal component will move your point of impact off-target (sideways) even though you only dialed up or held over vertically. The effect grows with distance and with the size of the correction — so long-range shots or large elevation corrections are where cant kills you. A bubble level forces a repeatable, true vertical so your corrections do what you expect. That’s why precision shooters always use one.
